The purpose of Little League is "To assist youth in developing qualities of citizenship, discipline, teamwork and physical well being, with proper guidance and exemplary leadership."
Centennial Lakes Little League offers baseball beyond the regular season with All Star teams. This competitive baseball experience allows our players to compete at a higher level as compared to the regular season.
Several opportunities exist at various age divisions. Every Little League is eligible to send three All Star teams into post season play. There’s officially a 10-year-old all star team (comprised of 10 & 9 -year-old players), an 11-year-old all star team (comprised of 11-year-olds), and a 12-year-old all star team (comprised of 12-year olds). These teams compete in a district tournament with the winner going to the Minnesota State Tournament.
In addition, District 2 offers an American League Tournament for all players in the Major League (American/National/International) not participating on one of the other three All Star teams described above.
10 & 11 year old tryouts are June 8th at Carl Eck. Details will be emailed to those who have registered closer to this date.
If you are looking for more details on American All Stars, expect these details to be shared after 10, 11 and 12 year old All Star teams are finalized.
2023 season registration has closed for all levels.
