League Registration

Please Read Before Registering!

With Covid uncertainties still looming, there are many unknowns for the 2021 season.  We are very hopeful that come Spring time, we will be able to play ball, but we are still moving forward with caution.  We want to be as transparent as possible so everyone knows what to expect going into the 2021 season with regards to refunds if there is a shutdown.  The 2020 season left our program with massive debts as we did not collect enough funds for the expenses we had already incurred for the season.   Moving forward, for the 2021 season, we will be covering our expenses.  If you register for the season, and if our season is shut down, you will not receive the 40.00 Field Maintenance fee back that is charged to each family.  There will also be an additional 20.00 per child that will not be refunded, and depending on the timing of a potential future shutdown, there may be additional costs that will not be refunded depending on how far we are into our season with regard to expenses already paid for by the league.  We know that many of you will understand this decision, and we know many of you may not, but in order for us to continue as a 501C3 non-profit program, this is something that we will need to do to ensure we stay a float for the kids in this community for future seasons.  Thank you for your support!

A Note About Concussion Training

Attn Coaches:

The requirement to be certified for concussion training is a MINNESOTA STATE LAW.  We require this because we must, and agree that it is a good idea to have coaches understand concussions.

Please note that after completing the concussion training, a pdf certificate will be presented to you.  You must make this certificate available to us by uploading it into the proof of concussion registration seen below on this page..

We recommend you first print this certificate at the completion of the training, then save it so you can upload it in the registration.  NHFS has historically also emailed you a copy of your proof of completion.

Concussion Training

Coaches are required to complete certified concussion training every two years. If you have NOT yet completed our course you must do so before any practice or games. We also recommend everyone taking this course as a refresher regardless of when last taken. When you complete the course, keep a copy of the completion certificate and register your completion with the below registration.

  • If you do not have a completed concussion certificate from the NFHS Learning Center, then go there now and complete the training.  You should be emailed your certificate immediately AND you should be able to go to a dashboard area and download it on demand.
  • Once on the webage from the link above, if you have never had training here, you must click "Register" in the upper right of the page and create an account for yourself.
  • Then use the "Search for Courses" box, search for Concussion and find the free "Concussion in Sports".  Click on the course.
  • Select Minnesota for the state and go through the checkout process.
  • Complete the course and get a copy of your completion certificate and complete the "2020 Concussion Proof of Completion" registration.  You will be asked to upload your certificate near the bottom of the page.

The course should take about 40 minutes and there is a short quiz at the end.  It is good for two years.  Keep the certificate for future proof of completion or you will need to retake the course.
