Youth Day is an opportunity for the Centennial Lakes Little Leaguers to engage with our Varsity players and have some fun on the field, grab a bite to eat, and enjoy the game. This year's Youth Day is on Saturday, May 18th, when our Varsity team takes on Mahtomedi at the CHS Varsity field at 12:00 p.m. No advance sign up is necessary. Just show up and enjoy the afternoon! We encourage all Little Leaguers to wear their CLLL T-shirt or jersey.
Upon check-in, each Little Leaguer will receive a coupon for a "Cougar Special"; good for one free hotdog, bag of chips, cookie and a drink during the game. The first 200 Little Leaguers will also receive a voucher from our partner, Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers, for a free kids meal at their Blaine location. Be sure to bring your camera to snap a photo op with the Cougar mascot. Kids can bring their gloves and a ball to play catch before the game and between innings. All Little Leaguers will be invited to warm up with the Varsity team, form a tunnel for the Varsity players to run through as they're announced, and run the bases after the game ends.
The schedule for the day is as follows:
11:15 a.m. Check-in begins, watch/participate in warm-ups, visit/photo op with the Cougar mascot, play catch
11:45 a.m.* Youth "TUNNEL" with the Cougar mascot to introduce Varsity players (*approximate time, dependent on the conclusion of warm-ups)
